Privacy Policy

Summary

MemoJoin does not require an account, custom analytics service, or developer backend for audio processing. The main app may display optional Google Mobile Ads after the required consent flow; the Action Extension and audio workflow do not request ads. This policy covers the MemoJoin app, its Action Extension, this website, and support messages you choose to send.

Scope and operator

This Privacy Policy applies to the MemoJoin iOS, iPadOS, and Android apps, the Add to MemoJoin Action Extension on Apple platforms, the MemoJoin product website at memojoin.iagent7.com, and communications sent to MemoJoin support.

MemoJoin is operated by Shanghai Aijingte Artificial Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. In this policy, “MemoJoin,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that company. Apple, Google, Cloudflare, email providers, system file locations, and apps selected from a platform share sheet operate under their own privacy policies when they process information independently.

Data handled by the app

Recordings and working copies

When you choose audio through Files or share compatible audio to MemoJoin, the app creates local working copies so the project does not depend on continued access to the source. MemoJoin reads technical details needed to work with the file, such as duration, file size, audio format, sample rate, channel count, and a local checksum used to detect duplicates and verify a shared copy.

Recording files, filenames, project names, clip names, trim ranges, order, gap settings, and export metadata stay in the platform-protected app storage or, for the Apple Action Extension, its App Group container. MemoJoin does not send this information to MemoJoin servers.

Permissions

MemoJoin uses platform file and sharing interfaces only when you choose an import, save, or share action. The main app may use network access required by Google Mobile Ads after consent; it does not send recordings, filenames, project names, playback/edit state, or exports to the ad service. MemoJoin does not request microphone, broad storage, Photos, location, contacts, or App Tracking Transparency permission.

Completed exports

Validated M4A results are stored locally in read-only Merge History until you delete an item or clear the history. Editing, replacing, or clearing the Current Merge does not delete completed results.

Information we receive

Information we do not receive from the app

We do not receive recordings, filenames, merge or clip names, trim ranges, ordering, gap settings, local checksums, exported files, or audio content from the MemoJoin app. The app has no account system and does not transmit a device identifier or custom usage event to us.

Store platform information

Apple and Google process their respective store purchases and may provide developers with aggregated listing, sales, proceeds, refund, performance, test, and crash information. Google Mobile Ads may process SDK-required technical data for consent, ad delivery, frequency control, fraud prevention, and aggregated measurement. It does not receive MemoJoin audio or project content. Depending on your device and privacy settings, the platform may make diagnostic reports available to the developer. MemoJoin does not add a custom crash-reporting or analytics SDK.

Website request information

This website is static and does not use an account, analytics script, advertising pixel, contact form, or cookie-based tracking. Cloudflare delivers and protects the site and may process standard request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timing, and security signals under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Support communications

If you contact support, we receive the email address, message, technical details, and files you choose to provide. Please do not attach private audio unless it is necessary, you choose to do so, and you have permission to share it.

How we use information

Where we receive information through Apple, our website infrastructure, or support communications, we use it only as reasonably necessary to:

• provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot MemoJoin and its website;
• respond to support, privacy, and legal requests;
• understand aggregated store performance, diagnose crashes, and improve compatibility;
• detect abuse, protect our systems and users, and comply with applicable law; and
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Depending on applicable law, these activities may rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing MemoJoin, your consent where required, or compliance with legal obligations. We do not use app audio or app project data for advertising, profiling, artificial-intelligence training, or automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Sharing, service providers, and transfers

User-directed sharing

MemoJoin does not automatically transmit recordings or finished files. A file leaves the app when you choose a destination through the platform’s save or sharing interface. The receiving location or app then handles that copy under its own terms and privacy practices.

Copies saved to Files or shared to another app are outside MemoJoin control. Deleting a result from Merge History does not delete copies you previously saved or shared.

Service providers and legal disclosures

Apple, Google, Cloudflare, and our email provider may process limited information to provide their respective platform, delivery, security, payment, diagnostic, or communications services. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful process, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

These providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where applicable, they and we rely on legally recognized transfer mechanisms and safeguards. Their independent processing is governed by their own policies and legal obligations.

No sale or cross-context behavioral sharing

We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Optional in-app ads are provided by Google Mobile Ads only after the required consent flow and are not based on MemoJoin audio or project content.

Retention and deletion

• The Current Merge and its working copies remain until you replace or clear that merge.
• Completed results remain in Merge History until you delete an item or clear the history.
• Incomplete shared-import copies are cleaned after 24 hours. Ready shared imports are not silently deleted after seven days; the app reminds you to review them.
• Temporary files from cancelled, failed, or interrupted exports are cleaned and are not presented as completed results.
• Support communications are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support history, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes, then deleted or de-identified when no longer needed.
• Website request and security information is retained according to the applicable Cloudflare configuration and policy.
• Deleting the app normally removes data in its app containers. Copies saved to Files, shared to another app, or retained by an operating-system backup are controlled by those locations and services.

MemoJoin provides controls to clear the Current Merge, pending imports, individual completed results, or all Merge History. These actions do not modify the original recordings.

Security

MemoJoin reduces privacy risk by processing audio locally, avoiding accounts and developer audio servers, using protected app and App Group containers, validating imported and exported files, and limiting app permissions. We also use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for the limited support and website information we receive.

No storage or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting device access and choosing appropriate destinations when saving or sharing files.

Your choices and privacy rights

You control the recordings selected for import, the Current Merge, pending shared imports, completed results, exports saved to Files, and destinations selected from the share sheet. Because app project data remains on your device, we generally cannot access, correct, export, or delete it for you. Use MemoJoin’s storage controls or delete the app to manage its local copies.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information we hold through support or other direct communications, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights may be limited by applicable law.

To make a privacy request, email support@iagent7.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the request and protect against unauthorized disclosure. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Children and lawful use

MemoJoin is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child sent personal information to support, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Users are responsible for having the right to process and share the recordings they select, including recordings containing another person’s voice.

Policy changes and contact

We may update this policy if MemoJoin’s features, service providers, platform requirements, or data practices change. We will update the effective date and provide any additional notice required by applicable law. Material changes apply prospectively unless otherwise stated.
